Volunteer

Volunteering with the Everett Public Library is a great way to participate in your community!

Adult Volunteers

If you are an adult and are interested in volunteering at the Everett Public Library, please fill out the online application. Applications will remain on file. The library will contact successful applications to set up an interview with the library.

Please note: The library’s need for volunteers changes throughout the year, and there may not always be a volunteer position available. The library is not able to accept volunteer applications for court mandated or community service hours. As of early 2023, we do not have volunteer positions available. Please check this page for updates.

Teen Volunteers

Community-centered teens (6th-12th grade) are encouraged to apply for the Library Teen Advisory Council (TACo).  Apply for TACo online, on paper, or in person — ask a staff person for details.

TACo will meet regularly to brainstorm program and engagement ideas, share library related programs with peers, and optionally attend/volunteer for programs and outreach. Members may obtain volunteer/community service hours.
