NaNoWriMo: So You Want To Write a Novel... with Kelly Jones (Main Library)

Thursday, October 26, 2023

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

You have an idea — you're trying to write every day — but can you really complete a novel? Maybe you're tackling NaNoWriMo for the first time — but what will it take to write that many words? What happens when you don’t feel like writing any more, or you lose your way? How to strategize a huge writing project, ways to keep yourself motivated, and tips to keep moving forward even when you feel lost or stuck.

Once upon a time, Kelly Jones was a librarian and a bookseller. Now, she writes novels for young people and takes care of a few hilarious chickens. She’s the author of Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer; Are You Ready to Hatch an Unusual Chicken?; Murder, Magic, and What We Wore; Sauerkraut; and Happily for Now. You can find her online at her website, curiosityjones.net.
