POSTPONED: Author Yangzse Choo Private Reception (Evergreen Branch)

Sunday, January 26, 2020

A private reception with author Yangsze Choo hosted by the Friends of the Everett Public Library. Ticket required and includes a copy of The Night Tiger and light refreshments.

POSTPONED due to illness - will be rescheduled!

A world of servants and masters, age-old superstition and modern idealism, sibling rivalry and forbidden love… Join us for an unforgettable evening with Yangsze Choo, the New York Times bestselling author of The Night Tiger and The Ghost Bride.  Choo will speak about and read from The Night Tiger, a sweeping historical novel about a dance hall girl and an orphan boy whose fates entangle over an old Chinese superstition about men who turn into tigers. The Night Tiger was chosen as a Reese Witherspoon x Hello Sunshine Book Club pick in April 2019 and a Book of the Month Club pick.

6 p.m.: Private reception hosted by Friends of Everett Public Library.
7 p.m.: Author talk, book sale and signing, free and open to the public.

The Friends of the Everett Public Library will host a private reception with Choo before the presentation. Tickets are $16 and include a free paperback copy of The Night Tiger, light refreshments and the chance to mingle with the author. Order tickets here:

The author presentation is free and open to the public. A book sale and signing will follow the talk.
