Book Walk

Take a Book Walk through the Park

See below for past walks. We will announce our next book walk here.

Missing storytime at the Everett Public Library? Enjoy reading a book outside with your family instead!

Look for the numbered yellow signs at the park listed below, then follow the path with your family. The Book Walk features one page of a story on an outdoor sign. As families walk along the path, parents and caregivers are invited to read each page aloud to their children.

This outdoor family activity is a collaboration between the Everett Public Library, Everett Parks & Community Services, and the Port of Everett with funding from the Friends of the Everett Public Library.

Visitors to the parks are asked to follow all health and safety guidelines, including face coverings, social distancing, and observing closures on playgrounds and other park amenities.

While the Library is closed to the public, community members are invited to use curbside library services to borrow materials. The Library’s Books for You service connects children, teens and adults to hand-picked library materials. For more information, call 425-257-8000.
