EVERETT, WA – Be prepared before you take to the water this summer! Join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and Everett Public Library for a free recreational boating safety workshop on Thursday, June 17 at 4 p.m. at www.crowdcast.io/e/boating.
This program is suitable for boaters of all levels. The course will review an introduction to boating, laws, safety equipment, navigation, problems and other important topics as you begin your boating journey. Instructor Martin Mooney has been a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Operations member since
2006. The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by Congress in 1939 to promote and improve recreational boating safety and to provide trained crews and facilities to augment the Coast Guard and enhance safety and security of ports, waterways and coastal regions.
