[ARCHIVED] Learn birding basics with Everett Public Library and Pilchuck Audubon

EVERETT, WA – Learn the basics of birding with Everett Public Library and Pilchuck Audubon, then grab a pair of binoculars and head outdoors to explore! Master birder Elaine Chuang will review birding basics and give a virtual birding tour on Saturday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at www.crowdcast.io/e/birding.

 

In this free class, Chuang will present “Birding 101,” which includes an introduction to birding in the Northwest, tips about local avian fauna, their habits and their habitats. Chuang will also take you on a virtual birding field trip to help you prepare for your own nature explorations. 


Elaine Chuang is a graduate of Seattle Audubon’s Master Birder class and is a volunteer in Environmental Education programs with Seattle Parks and Recreation. She practices community science with Pilchuck Audubon, Seattle Audubon, Washington Ornithological Society and the Woodland Park Zoo.
