Curbside Pickup

Effective March 2, 2021, the Library is re-open for limited in-building service. For those who cannot or choose not to enter the library, we are happy to continue offering curbside pickup service.

What are the hours of Curbside Pickup?

Main Library:

Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm

Evergreen Branch:

Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm

How does Curbside Pickup work?

  1. Place holds/requests for library materials through your account at www.epls.org or by calling the Main Library at 425-257-8000 or the Evergreen Branch at 425-257-8250.
  2. You will be notified when your items are available to pick up. You will have 10 days to pick up your items.
  3. Arrive at the Library during curbside service hours.  For the Main Library, call 425-257-7617.  For the Evergreen Branch, call 425-257-8260.  Library staff will check out materials to your account and deliver them to your vehicle.

Curbside service will be a socially distant, contactless service. Staff will place items in the trunk or rear passenger window of your vehicle.

What if I don’t have a car but I still want Curbside Pickup?

Please follow the same instructions as above for curbside pickup.  Instead of placing items in your vehicle, library staff will place your items in a bag on the ground for you to pickup.

How do I ask a question about library materials or my account?

Library staff are available by phone to answer reference questions, recommend reading materials, and resolve account questions.

For reference questions or reading recommendations, call: 425-257-8000 for the Main Library or 425-257-8250 for the Evergreen Branch

For account questions, call: 425-257-8010 for the Main Library or 425-257-8260 for the Evergreen Branch.

How do I return library materials?

Place the items in the book return slots near the front entrance of either the Main Library or Evergreen Branch.

The book drops will be open 24/7 for your convenience.

What if I no longer want to check out the items I have on hold?

Please call 425-257-8010 and ask to cancel your holds.
