2019 Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading Banner, A Universe of Stories

Read books, get prizes!

Reading logs are available at the Main Branch beginning June 1. The Evergreen Branch is temporarily closed for renovation.

Start keeping track of your reading time on the first day of summer vacation. Listening to reading also counts. Children and teens, from birth through grade 12 may participate.

Reading or listening for 24 hours earns you:
 • A free book!
 • An entry into the grand prize drawing!
 • An invitation to meet the Mayor!

Summer Reading isn't just for kids. Adults can join our year-long Reading Challenge.

Looking for something else to do besides read? The library's summer schedule is full of activities and all of them are free. For some events, advanced registration is recommended.

For more information about Summer Reading or our events, call Youth Services at 425-257-8030, Adult Services at 425-257-8000, or stop by the library.
