It’s time for Summer Reading!

Can you read for 24 hours this summer? Listening to reading also counts. Reading logs for children ages 0 through grade 12 are available at either of our library locations through July 31.

The deadline for entering the grand prize drawing is now August 24. Children who reach their summer reading goal of 24 hours can enter for a chance to win a bike, and teens can enter for a chance to win a Kindle Fire.

Summer Reading isn't just for kids, adults can join the fun too in our year-long Reading Challenge.

So, grab a book and start reading! Can’t decide what to read? Ask our librarians for suggestions on new authors or titles you might enjoy.

Looking for something else to do besides read? The library's summer schedule is full of activities and all of them are free. For some events, advanced registration is recommended.

For more information about Summer Reading or our events, call Youth Services at 425-257-8030, Adult Services at 425-257-8000, or stop by the library.
