Best of all, eBooks and digital audio books automatically "return" to us, so there are no fines!

E-ink Kindles

If you have an e-ink Kindle (the Kindles with grey screens and without apps), you will need to use OverDrive. Most Kindle Fire tablets will work with the cloudLibrary app, but not the e-ink Kindles.

Go to the library’s cloudLibrary or OverDrive Collection.

Your Account

Use your 14-digit library card number (beginning with 2305600...) and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of the phone number).

Checkout Information

You can check out up to 10 digital audio books and eBooks.

The length of your checkout (7, 14, or 21 days) can be set within the cloudLibrary or OverDrive apps or browser pages.

You can place holds on eBooks, just like regular books!

OverDrive and cloudLibrary let you renew items that do not have other people waiting to check them out. The renewal option becomes available three days before the return date. Look for the Renew button next to the book image in ’Loans’ in Overdrive and in ’My Books’ in cloudLibrary.
